The Hand takes fresh look at J-horror. Plagued by nightmares a young woman finds herself detached from reality in a spiral of unwaking terror.

Sometimes the scariest thing in the world is to close your eyes and succumb to the darkness. 'The Hand' tells the story of Ye-Ling who is plagued by nightmares. She wakes, hoping to find comfort in the arms of her boyfriend, but a much worse fate awaits her

Shot over a hot weekend in July 2006 for £1,000 'The Hand' spent a year in post production before being released onto the festival circuit in 2007. It is our tribute to the great modern Asian horror films that have re-invented what it means to scared.
